For several years I have been co-ordinating with the Conseil Grands Crus Classés en 1855 and the prestigious Institute of Masters of Wine, for an annual trip for 40 first stage students from across the globe. I am always impressed by their knowledge and passion to become an MW, they know it’s tough but such field trips are really educational. Many topics were discussed such as the commercialisation of Sauternes, climate change, the future of la Place…I wish them all the best of luck for the exam in June!
